Tips & Tricks

  • Cleaning Brushes

    • When cleaning your brushes do not use Alcohol or Acetone.
    • Only use a clean dry wipe or tac it! top coat and a wipe.

  • What is RTU & CS20 for?

    • RTU is for surfaces such as desk, lamps, chair etc. Must stay wet for 3 minutes on surface.
    • CS20 is for tools such as cuticle scissors, nippers, pushers etc. must soak for 20 minutes.

  • Ombre Spray

    When using Absolute Ombre Spray, you want to apply tac it! top coat and not cure, then spray powder in desired area. Then cure, if you want it more intense follow step one again.

  • What is the difference?

    What is the difference of Steel Top & Tac it! Top?

    • Steel Top: cures with no inhibition layer, thicker consistency, can cure easier with over head lights (causing brushes to cure).
    • Tac it! Top: cures with a inhibition layer, thinner consistency. Great for mixing and layering with gel polishes.

  • Clear Jelly Stamping

    Are you struggling to get your image off the stamping plate?

    • Best tip I can give, move fast with the jelly to pick up your design.
    • Make sure you don't have the space to warm, a fan or air conditioner directly on you. This will speed up the drying process even more.
    • Once you have the image on the jelly you can take all the time you need.

  • Working with Intense Brow[n]s?

    If you are working with the RefectoCil Intense Brow[n]s Tints we suggest you do not use Saline Solution before hand.

    • Saline Solution has a salt content, salt does not mix with the Intense Brow[n]s tints, this could lead to patchy and uneven results.
    • Use RefectoCil Make-up Remover or/& Lash & Brow Foam instead.

  • Soft Gel Tips

    When applying Absolute Soft Gel Tips, we would recommend it is best to use the Soft Pink Rubber Base.

    • When you apply the tips with the soft pink rubber base you can see where the product is, if it covers the full nail or to see if it is flooding the cuticle area.

  • Fuzion, what does & doesn't work together!

    Bonders:

    Gripzion works with:

    1. More Flexible gels such as "Five" or SL Clear

    Cohezion works with:

    1. More rigid gels such as "2.5" or Repairz

    Problem Child

    1. Very last resort

    Builder Gels:

    2.5 can not be layered with other more flexible builders (ex. Five, SL Clear)

    Sculptzure can be layered with (Ex. Five or SL Clear) Can not be layered with 2.5

    Repairz can not be layered with flexible gels like (Ex. Five)
